These animals have good vision. They are rather active and a young animal may try to jump out of your hands. Hold them rather carefully and attentive otherwise the fall can lead to broken bones and internal injures. Always use two hands to pick up your pet and don't forget to place a towel underneath them to prevent unexpected surprises. You should never leave your animal unsupervised on a tabletop because it will surely wander too close to the edge and fall. Normally, the life span of these animals is five to seven years; however they can live longer if cared for properly.
